Dirty Ears Bill Absolutely gorgeous masterclass in proggy doom songwriting and instrumentation. Someone else called it pastoral, and for some reason, that's a completely fitting description by more than one of the word's definitions. Emotional and heavy like Pallbearer, old Spirit Adrift, and Khemmis at their most grandiose but very different from all of those. A top candidate for 2019's most underrated/overlooked metal album. Favorite track: Mercy.

flxndr retro? proto? fresh? yes, but first and foremost timeless music, fallen out of time. Favorite track: Mercy.

Goldsaftbube I did not expect that at all. When I read the tags, I was expecting slow, heavy, and heavily distorted music - the typical stuff, you know? After a few minutes I realized, that this is not at all a typical release - it is something much more beautiful, richer in atmosphere, and melancholy, than in deep, dark tunes. A beautiful record! Favorite track: Mercy.
